I bought it for my very exitable 1 year old working cocker spaniel. She did tend to walk quite well on a lead but could often encroach ahead and dive to get to birds. We bought this for her comfort also. It’s much easier to control the dog with it and probably feels better for her. She walks lovely on and shows no issue that it’s uncomfortable. It helped with the slight pulling also as the strap across the chest is a much better restraint. They fit nice and have plenty of room for adjusting.
