Place the grey end over the end of your hose and put the end of your hose into the yellow end. you will see a circle in the middle with an outer circle of teeth, these grip the hose, so the end of the hose needs to be pushed between the two. Once this in on, pull the grey part back up the shaft of the hose and screw it back into the yellow part until tight. Hope that helps. Then unscrew the grey plastic section out from the yellow section and slide it onto the hose. This will revealwhere you need to push the hose into the yellow section between the exposed 'teeth'. Make sure that all of the 'teeth' are on the outside of the hose and that it has been fully inserted.
