I’ve put it to use on both budget and premium quality general use papers and card (between 50 - 350 GSM), hand made papers, 100% recycled paper, card stock with both matte and some lower gloss finishes. The nib size of this pen is 0.7mm which I find perfect for notes and jotting, writing and smaller hand lettering and outline. In my opinion the pen itself is very ergomatic and sits in the hand perfectly making neater handwriting easier. The fact that the Frixion series use erasable inks is a huge bonus for those of us who are prone to mistakes! I have found that both the refills, wether bought as stand alone refills or those that come with the pen itself, contain a little less ink than other similar brand pens/refills, so if using the pen for anything more than the odd note or message you may need to replace the inks sooner. As an example, one refill will last me about 3-4 weeks. But, I use it daily and to write long diary entries (two sides of A5), general note taking, in art projects and use to write longer letters (two sides of an A4 page) But the results and performance are worth buying regular refills!
