Yes you get the typical “spinning” noise when the hard drive is in use but nothing too disturbing like the sound of pots and pans being bashed about. Literally some people over exaggerate noise like wth I mean you must have one dodgy hard drive the way you make it out to be when all 3 of mine are quieter than a sleeping hamster.
