It is beautiful. The dark, polished wood. The deep groove is especially nice. It seems that whenever I use a carving board, there just is not enough groove to catch all the juices, which I do not like to lose all over the counter. This cutting board should take care of that problem. The ONLY thing I would like it to have had would be to have some kind of pouring spout so I could pour the juices into a container.
