Foot rest feels solid and rubber feet prevents slipping on wooden floor. I had surgery on left knee and being able to independently move feet position is very usefull and aids comfort. Rollers on the middle section brings added fun to working from home. There are spacers that can be added to the footrest to raise the height if required but I didn't need.
