You can also change the tuner key so reads correct note played. **Q: can u tune a piano using this device?** A: Unfortunately no. Being a clip-on style tuner, the UberTuner must be directly clipped on to an instrument in order to detect the pitches (I'm afraid that's not quite possible with a piano). **Q: Can this be used on left handed guitar/ukes?** A: I’m not entirely sure. I think you may have to reverse the sequence. I would suggest you go back on the internet and look for left handed tuners you may be lucky. My granddaughter is left handed and learning guitar she uses an app on her iPhone. Easy to use on Guitar/ Banjo/ Ukelele. Big Screen. Stronger than Snark but not indestructible. Bit slow to start, battery life isn't great. Just like most other Clip on tuners if you leave it on the headstock all the time the rubber will react with the finish.
