I needed a larger inspection mirror for car maintenance and DIY use and this fits the job pretty well. It has a good sized mirror for seeing under floor boards, or inside wall cavities. As expected, the LED illumination is not as bright at a good torch, but it's so much easier to use. I cannot say about how robust it may be, as I have not had it long enough. It appears well enough made to put up with normal use - but I would not throw it in the bottom of the tool box/bag and leave it to take its chances with the other tools (I think the LED on/off switch would easily get knocked on).
