A: No, you should not use this on rocks. The product is for use on grass and turf. Thank you

A: I set it up but then had 5-10 year olds using it.  They all loved it and had a ball. I can't see any reason a nine year old couldn't use it!

Been used a few times now and no signs of it ripping / tearing so I guess it is fairly sturdy. Be careful putting in the plastic retaining pegs if there are hidden rocks in your lawn - they do bend a bit.As an added bonus it waters the lawn at the same time as you use it.Needless to say the reality of how the slide works does not quite live up to image shown on the box but it is still pretty cool! You need pretty decent water pressure to get the full effect of the sprayers.
