**Q: I would like to paint my daughter's room a different color. it's a sort of orange color now...i'd like to paint it pink. will i need a primer?**
A: Hello Linda - E.S.P. will not assist in coverage in a case like this. It does help with adherence. The purpose of this product is to prevent the need to sand / scuff a surface before applying paint. **Q: I want to apply this to reclaimed wood so that it keeps the reclaimed appearance, yet I want it smooth. Will this work?**
A: Not sure why you would select this product as a candidate? Although I am not familiar with what a reclaimed surface is this product was designed to prep a non-porous surface for paint and eliminate the need for sanding.

**Q: so, do you have to prime it before painting after applying ESP? Our cabinets are stained>Would it be better if I lightly sanded kitchen cabinets ?**
A: This is dependent on what kind of finish the cabinets currently have, the condition of the finish after application, and the finish you will be applying. It is important that new finish is compatible with the old one. ESP is made to prep a non-porous surface to eliminate the need for sanding.
