A: I have a large wireless mic and it hold that so standard plus im guessing. They do stretch

**Q: I am wondering if the 5/8 thread is metal and whether it could be (forcibly) removed. The reason I ask is I would like to obtain a 5/8-27 nut.**
A: The thread is brass and probably well bonded into the plastic. I feel sure the thread is photographic standard. Cannot see why you would need a nut instead.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good solid job with adapter

Tiger do 2 sizes of clip - small and regular, but the actual sizes are not quoted in the description. Small is OK for pencil mics 21-22mm. Regular measures 26mm at the narrow end, 29mm at the outer end so the average studio mic will probably slip in. The plastic is quite thick so it is very firm and would not expand much above this. Comes threaded 5/8" with a 3/8" adapter.
