For such a small light, it’s surprisingly bright, and the 395nm wavelength picks up hidden stains, marks, and dust that you’d never notice with normal lighting. I originally bought it to check for pet urine spots, and it works brilliantly for that. It also helped me find a couple of scuffs on the carpet and even spot a tiny leak under the sink I didn’t realise was there. The build feels solid, the button is responsive, and the included AAA batteries mean you can use it right out of the box. It’s compact enough to fit in a drawer or pocket, and it’s become one of those tools I didn’t know I needed until I had it. If you want a simple, affordable UV light that actually does what it claims, this one is well worth it.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: will this highlight cat urine spray?**
A: Hi Dee. It shows cat urine, so I would assume spray, too. However, my cat is neutered, so can't guarantee it. The light is great around the kitchen, too, for seeing things like food splatters in the microwave . Best of luck.

**Q: How long will the batteries last if the torch is used continuously. I need at least 10 hrs to use it in a moth trap left on overnight**
A: HI there - No way will it last 10 hours - I was using it on and off for an hour and the light dulled.

**Q: Can this be used to cure resin when repairing glass or a windscreen?**
A: Never tried it but it cure's u v resins when I'm fly tying !!

**Q: Will this work for finding golf balls at dusk**
A: Not all golf balls light up under uv. This torch is not very powerful so you would have to be pretty close to the ball. I would imagine a couple of metres at most. I would suggest this is not ideal for the job.
