I already had mounted the side extensions (incredibly useful) and the tool holder for shovels, so why not spend a few dollars and have a convenient place to hold a cold or hot beverage!(Please note: I am not recommending that you operate your tractor or ATV while intoxicated... but sometimes a cold beer is needed while doing yardwork!)The tool organizer is useful enough to justify the cost, and I have used it a few times for holding tools when the tractor breaks down away from the garage. But mostly, it's a place to hold a beverage. My only complaint is that the mounting holes are above the flat shelf section. This makes it very difficult to mount if you'd like it tight to the lip of the trailer. I was able to mount it there, and tight - but it took several attempts with a magnet holding the nut and a long wrench to get it all aligned. I think it was worth the effort, but if polar had simply designed the upper mounting bolt hold to go just underneath the shelf, it would allow for an easier and cleaner installation. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Horseshoes and hand grenades.. *by D***. on August 14, 2017* I installed this on a Polar trailer. I suppose I should've looked at some different mounting locations before drilling holes. I don't remember off-hand which trailer I have, but it's one of the plastic bodied ones with the level sides. Logic would tell you to mount this flush with the upper edge of the trailer bed. Right? Well, if you do so, the rolled edge interferes with the cup-holders and everything behind it. I could've mounted it lower, but I kind of thought it would eliminate the ability to store anything longer handled on it. So I just left it at the top. One of these days, I'm going to hit the rolled edge with a heat gun and see if I can fold it in a little. ### ⭐ Not a good value *by C***B on May 9, 2019* This was recommended by Polar for the Polar HD Max trailer. It will not mount on the center of the HD Max as shown in the picture due to the formation of the tub. The picture is of another Polar trailer. I still used it, but had to mount it to the side. The included bolts are not long enough to fit through the plastic tub and bracket, requiring a trip to the hardware store for an additional $5 in nuts and bolts. Do not get me wrong, I love the HD Max trailer.
