I have had the beats solo HD, Beats studio, Soul by Ludacris, Beats Wireless and Bose quiet comfort 15. I purchased these a few weeks ago and I am impressed with the sound.These are not powered like the beats studios and these are way better priced. These are made mostly of plastic but I like the fact they do not feel like a dumbbell on your head. Even though they are not made mostly of metal I believe it would take a lot of abuse to break these. I purchased the white and orange ones and the price was great.These do not have the intense bass that is produced by similar powered headphones but the sound is very crisp and the bass is loud enough and not overpowering.The one thing I like about these is they have a locking cord. I use headphone all the time and I hate it when I walk past something and catch the cord and rip it out. Problem solved with these.I have many JBL products including wireless headphone I use for my TV at night and all my home theater speakers are JBL.
