On a positive side, product does a very good job keeping items cold. For the bad, if you leave ice pack in freezer for more than overnight (or a couple of reuses), the gel cells will expand and break the material holding the gel in the pack. Then, during use, gel ends up on the items (read inside kids lunchbox).
