My current gigs involve showing up on a site with a network problem and getting it fixed quickly. Mostly retail stuff where the POS or credit card system is down, in other words, they are not making money. I've had the 200 for about 8 months now and it has proven its worth over and over again. I often show up at a site that I've never seen before, and let me tell you, retail installs can be really ugly. Sometimes just finding the switch or router on a site can be a challenge because the staff doesn't have a clue. This probe will find wires in walls but also show you which one in a bundle you're holding in your hand is the one you're looking for (you have to use it to understand.) The connection tester will show you what wires are missing or in the wrong position if you listen to it well, EVEN IF THERE IS ONLY ONE WIRE CONNECTED! This is a complicated but intuitive device, so intuitive that there really isn't much of a manual.. you just have to work with it for a while. Like a rather odd co-worker that is skilled but a bit strange, you'll come to love it. The guys and gals in Everett really understood what us field guys go through and need in a "toner". If you deal with CAT5 or RJ45 wiring on a regular basis, you want this. If you have a job where you show up and have to figure where a wire goes, you NEED this.
