SerialStuff was great and got the product replaced. They even called first to check on my laptop to ensure compatibility. I had mistakenly tried an Aukey Power Delivery car dc adapter / charger ( AUKEY Car Charger with USB C & Power Delivery, Dual Port 36W Output for Pixel / XL, New MacBook / MacBook Pro, Pixel C Tablet and More , but it was only 36W and ended up giving me a shock on the third use (even though it temporarily worked). My new HP Spectre 360 ( 2017 HP - Spectre x360 13-AC013DX 2-in-1 13.3" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i7 - 8GB Memory - 256GB Solid State Drive - Natural silver (Certified Refurbished)  I found out requires at least a 45W PD charger. This one works great with a high quality USB C PD cable that can handle at least 45W, no more over heating, no shocks. Though the USB C port, it quick charges and does a nice job on my hp spectra x360 laptop at charging. But the Regular USB Type-A port is supposed to be QC Quick Charging. It is not. Tried many cables that work on other chargers but it will not put my phone Samsung Ultra Note 20 or my Note 10+ into Quick Charge mode. It also does not support Supper Quick Charge on the C port, just Quick Charge.If I were to do it again. I would pass. I am past my days to return. Now I know why they are selling for half price at 14.00My advice ... I use the 5v-3A mostly to turbo power my Moto Z and it never even gets warm. If the red light is on, it is working - simple as that. Also used the 15v-3A for an HP pavilion x2 10" convertible and it worked perfectly for that as well. If you have any devices needing wide support up to 45w on USB-C, get this thing! USB-PD (power delivery) is apparently the best way to describe the power profiles. Quick charge port seems to work as advertised as well.
