Review: I really like this keypad door. I was never very great at locking my outside garage, so I put it on that door and it is great! It locks by itself after 30 seconds, so I don’t have to worry about whether or not I locked the door at night. To unlock it, I just put in my code. Much easier than carrying around keys. The instructions were great! If you have never installed a door knob before, then I recommend reading through the instructions once, then go for it. If you have installed a door knob before, I still recommend you read through them once–not like I did and have to go back to adjust the door handle. I like that the door handles are not on at first, so that they are easy to put on the right way–with the curved part down. I also like that it was really easy to program. Just make sure you keep the instructions or take a picture of them in case you have to re-program the lock. The locking mechanism is smooth and quiet when it locks or unlocks. There is really nothing about this door knob that I don’t like. If there was one thing that I would have to say, it would be that the edges are a little more defined and “edgy” than the other door knobs I have, but that is really not a big deal, they are nice looking and function well.

A: Yea you can!! My local hardware store rekeyed mine in about ten minutes. He said the internal lock is a Schlage lock. Very good quality too!

**Q: I purchased this lock in October and its now January and doesn't work. Any ideas what could be wrong?**
A: Do the lights light up when you touch a key, or when you cycle the lock from inside? I installed mine in September and it quit working this morning. Dead batteries.

**Q: How do I set up several fingerprints? Every time I set a new one it deletes the previous one.**
A: We had the same problem. It won't allow us to have multiple fingerprints. We use the passcode instead.

I really like this keypad door. I was never very great at locking my outside garage, so I put it on that door and it is great! It locks by itself after 30 seconds, so I don’t have to worry about whether or not I locked the door at night. To unlock it, I just put in my code. Much easier than carrying around keys. The instructions were great! If you have never installed a door knob before, then I recommend reading through the instructions once, then go for it.
