These cups are light and balance well, and I especially like how my large fingers can easily slip through the ring to hold it. The ONLY downside to (any) stainless steel is you can't microwave them. But that's a sacrifice I am willing to make. So I heat up water in a microwave ok cup then pour the hot water into my stainless steel cup. I sit outside in the morning when taking the doggies out and I like how these cups held extend the cold winter temperature, too.
