It is still VERY playable. The sustain is decent. The sound is ethereal. It came with a quality soft shell case that has backpack straps for easy carrying. It also came with some tiny mallets that are useless for anything except maybe when trying to tune it. When it arrived the Handpan was in a plastic bag and was covered in machine oil to protect it. It wiped off easily. If you are a beginner or are on a limited budget this is a great place to start. If I stick with it for 6 month's I plan on spending the 1k-3k for a professional quality Handpan.
