I was a bit concerned about the locks being damaged because the outer cover was made of plastic (metal inside) and it protruded a bit, but it survived nicely. Pros - Didn’t see any damage or scratches after air travel and road trips; Rolls smoothly and very maneuverable; Wheels are very quiet, except on very rough surfaces; Very solid handle (doesn’t wiggle); Surprisingly got several compliments. Cons - Sometimes hard to roll on 4 wheels in thick carpet - still very maneuverable but had to sometimes roll on 2 wheels (okay on thin carpet). The only improvements I could think of are adding a bottom grab handle to make it easier to grab luggage from airport carousel and making sizes conform to airline requirements - I ended up getting the 24-inch as the 28-inch was over the 62 linear inches airline requirement for checked luggage. This suitcase is by far the best I have used. Both sides have separate pockets to pack smaller items in. It handles effortlessly and rolls so easily. Because it has zippers on both sides it can fit a lot more clothing and the clothing stays put. It also has a very good locking system on it.
