On the question of battery life I can't speak too much other than it lasts at least a half hour at highest setting, which is far longer than you or your partner will last, based on personal experience ;) The battery charges really quickly (15 minutes to max IME), and you CAN INDEED USE THE DEVICE WHILE PLUGGED IN. This will not make your hand numb in the way a cheaper vibrator sometimes will, even with the increase in power the sheer size and weight of this device can be intimidating for a new user but it is ESSENTIAL to keeping vibrations on the round head of the device instead of in the handle. You can also really FEEL the build quality in the legitimate product, it's definitely not cheaply made.
