If you want something pretty to show off your 70 inch television and dont actually care about playing golf, go with the latest console version.2004 lets you play in a wide variety of modes like tournaments, competitions, custom games, practice on any course at any place, random challenges, and you can even set up your own custom seasons. You can practice a great deal of stroke types and then add them to your select-able tools in a match. There are about 3 times as many available courses as the 2003 version, and the ability to go back and play old tournaments any time is a nice addition. Strangely, later versions of PGA Tour had strict calendar play and you could not go backwards. I dont know why they would make the game worse.Player customization is basic and the graphics were not top-notch even when the game first came out.
