This was the album where the fully formed FAB FOUR had really found their feet Bothe as artists and writers- no more cover versions of American Girl Groups or Motown hits. This remastered edition sounds excellent across the board. Sixty years since it was first released with improved playback technology it now becomes possible to hear what the band actually wanted fans to hear. The only problem is that with the ability to hear that detail we can now hear where the joins are as we are closer to revealing how the sausage was made. The Beatles were ahead of their time regarding composition and experimentation with studio techniques which were revolutionary and almost impossible to achieve at the time. I don't think we can improve upon this production/mastering/mix without destroying the integrity of the original project. Bought all their LPs and singles then. These records have all become tired and so I decided to replace them with fresh LPs which have been remixed and reproduced in stereophonic sound. They sound amazing which gives me the same thrill I enjoyed when I first herd them 60 plus years ago.
