My 4 year old boy kept wanting his light on and didn't want to stay in bed at bed time. This worked great for us, it gave enough light he felt comfortable but not so much it hindered him going to sleep. Being able to pick the color combo really helps on the brightness of it. Happy enough with it that I bought a second for my daughter. Timer is great, I set it for just 30 minutes for my son and that's great for hom just getting to sleep but for my 2 year old daughter I set it for about 6 hours so that it is on all through the night as a night light in case she wakes up. The spinning feature is fun but I find it a little louder than what i would prefer but my son doesn't seem to mind.
