And that is a beautiful thing! Use Tips: - Open the quick release lever all the way. - Use the set-nut to make sure the mount slides tight onto the rail, but do NOT over-tighten! ***Excess stress will break the lever when you close it.*** - Now slide the mount all the way forward on the rail. - Close the Quick Release Lever. It should be tight but should not require a lot of force. - **Every Rail Sight Combo will be off-zero until you sight in!** Sighting in Your Optics: - Use a bench rest. Setup a target and shoot a group of 3 rounds. - If you group is too low, lower the aimpoint of your optics towards the group.. - If you group is too high raise the aimpoint of your optics . - If you group is too far to the right adjust the aimpoint towards the group you just shot. - If you group is too far to the left... Well hopefully you get the picture by now..:). - Work in small increments (quarter turn). - Rinse and repeat. Go slow. Also there was no locking mechanism or anything to keep the mount from sliding torwards the stock of the gun and becoming dettached.
