I have 10 spinning rods and they all have these reels on them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very smooth, just heavy *by P***. on February 15, 2025* I ordered this up for a new 5'6" ultralight rod I purchased. It's not a fancy rod and since it is ultralight, I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a reel. For the money, this is a decent reel. I got it to target small pan fish like bluegill but occasionally hook into decent size bass so I loaded it up with 6 lb braid and run 4 lb leader. The quality was better than i expected for the price. It its very smooth and casts well, too. My only complaint is that it is heavy. Really heavy. I ordered a 1000 size and it feels about the same as my 3500 size Pflueger Supreme XT's. The weight made the reel/rod combo feel very unbalanced in my hands. Enough that I returned it.
