I used the tape on all 4 sides to ensure total coverage and it all seemed to go ok for 24 hours. Then all of a sudden from downstairs I can hear the sound of tape peeling away from the tiles and then an almighty thud. I’m just glad that the mirror didn’t break, because I don’t fancy 7 years bad luck, and it had even hit the sink on the way down. The mirror didn’t seem to weigh that much, but even after putting tape completely down all 4 sides, it obviously wasn’t strong enough.
