Once setup correctly powers the raspberry pi without any issues, and the USB connector means there is no messing around using the header on the raspberry pi.A gotcha is that the raspberry pi is very picky about under-voltage during heavy use and the current limit when the buck module arrives is enough for the pi to boot, but not enough to run at full speed.
