### ⭐⭐ Waiting for the patch......
*by K***S on September 7, 2007*

I have great hope for this game given the huge popularity of its predecessor. If the helicopter sim community puts as much support into EE2 as they have Enemy Engaged: Comanche vs Hokum, then I'm sure that one day this game will be great. That being said, out of the box, this game is a clunker!!!First off, the graphics (particularly the landscapes), although greatly improved over the original, are nowhere near what we would expect from a game made in 2007. Even compaired to a game like Lock On: Modern Air Combat, which was released in 2003, these landscape graphics seem dated. It's really a shame that the developers didn't invest as much time into the landscape textures as they did the aircraft models, which are actually quite nice. What you're left with is a very beautiful helicopter to fly around a very dull and ugly world. There are also several graphical glitches in the game. The one that I've noticed the most is helicopters and other aircraft taking off and landing where there is no airfield. Then fly about a mile away and behold, a completely deserted airstrip. But by far, the most annoying glitch in the game is the abundance of invisible walls. Or trees. Honestly I don't know what they are....because they're invisible! But if you fly around for a while, low Nap-of-the-Earth style like any helicopter should, you'll eventually run into......something. You won't see it, but one minute you're flying along and the next, you've crashed and the mission is over. This bug/glitch/mistake makes the game almost unplayable and needs to be fixed by the developers ASAP.The bottom line is this: I think that this game has a lot of potential. That being said, it's definately not without its problems. However, what flight sim game has ever been released without a world of problems at the start? (Falcon Dance anyone???) If the developers get behind this game and try to fix the problems, or give up the code to the public to allow them to fix it, then this game is destined for greatness. If not, then EE2 is on its way to that great virtual aircraft graveyard. If you already have EECH, don't bother buying this yet. If you don't have EECH, and don't want to spend the 50+ dollars for a copy of it, you might consider EE2, just be aware of the problems that it still has. It's actually a really fun game when you're not crashing into invisible stuff.

### ⭐ Avoid this one at all cost!
*by J***. on October 6, 2007*

Man, this sim is completely unreasonable. Even some of the in-game text from the mission briefings was written in broken English. Right out of the box I encountered problem after problem with this bomb of a sim. First, it took my system (Which was well above the recommended specs) forever to even recognize the AutoPlay on the CD. Once I forced it to run, it took near about an hour and a half to get it installed. (Had to disable fire-wall, but no mention of having to do that in the instructions.) Once installed, there is no help setting it up. Through trial and error, I finally got the controls configured for my joystick (Saitek ST290 Pro) even then, at BEST, the game would randomly obey the settings that I had selected. The MOST I could get it to do was switch views and fire weapons. EVERYTHING else was not functional or did different things each time the same button/key was pushed. This was a total let down after waiting 4 days for it to arrive. I absolutely love chopper sims, but this one doesn't even get off the ground for my hard earned $29 plus S&H. (Figuratively and literally) Maybe I can get a refund...? I would've given it less than one star, but the box is probably biodegradable...SincerelyJohn

### ⭐⭐⭐ Not What you think it is
*by H***. on January 21, 2010*

You would think that they'd make the game more enjoyable to play. Instead they've made it as if you've actually gone to flight school & know how to fly & defend yourself.
