It was a little tricky using it on a round pool cover but once the length of the straps were adjusted properly it was fine. Straps feel nice and strong, plastic clips are larger than I thought so they will probably hold up well. If you make a mistake and need to move one they are easy to open up and move but then you will have an additional hole in your cover.
