When you unfold the mat, you notice it’s made from a lovely soft material with deep rich colours to stand out against the black background of the mat when you are standing up. It was quite tricky to get the creases out of it and in the end I gave it a low heat iron to smooth it out and then it was fine on a solid floor but if you put it on anything else like carpet or grass outside it doesn't work so this is very much an indoor wooden floor practice mat which then means you can actually use a ball as that won’t give you an accurate representation of putting on a green. That being said it did help with my stroke and swing technique to make sure I was drawing it back correctly and following through.
