When I purchased these towels, I paid less than US $15 for a pair, making them an incredible bargain. I bought 6. They are large, soft, absorbent, and reasonably thick. My only negative observation is that they shed an absolutely phenomenal amount of lint. Make sure to wash them separately at least once or twice before using, and plan on emptying the lint trap several times while tumble drying.

As described, it is a large absorbent towel, but it is far from soft.  Washed several times to soften up, but the only positive outcome was no fading.
