Although we have had various customers use this product successfully on other brand containers (Reliance included), we only guarantee compatibility with our Samson Stacker container **Q: Just purchased from amazon the 5 gal. storage containers from saratoga farms. will these caps fit those containers?** A: While the outside of the cap will frequently conform to a name brand closure, the thread on the cap and container can be proprietary to the molder. We carry two different 70mm caps for the several 5 gallon options that we inventory. The containers that you reference are not our product. They appear to be of a different manufacture. It would be best to contact that seller regarding caps. Ultimately, we do not know if our caps will fit. **Q: Would this cap with spigot fit a 35lb (4.6 gallon) oil container from Costco? I am looking for dispenser for the jug?** A: While the outside of caps are frequently to a standard, the threads are frequently proprietary to the molder. We have no knowledge of the Costco container but we do not have any reason to expect compatibility. If the container is steel, then a male plug is likely to be required rather than a cap.
