I mounted on plaster board and due to the low profile and ability to fix the mount on the TV to help compensate for top or bottom heavy tvs, this helps the TV hang and most of the weight is pulling down so no worry it's going to pull away from the wall. With the 77 inch oled I have most of the TV insides in a bump at the bottom of the TV. You can see from the photo that this still sits nice and close to the wall.
