This shampoo made my scalp mildly tingly, which i was hoping for. After lathering my hair twice, my hair felt stripped of every bit of moisture it ever had. It's got the clarifying thing on lock. I had no problem adding moisture back with a different brand of conditioner (rinse out and leave in). So it definitely cleaned my scalp, as far as i can tell. Consistency of the shampoo was nice to touch. Lathered well second time, not so much first time, but my hair was dirty. I'd buy it again. Did exactly what i wanted.
