After one too many instances of cars simply not noticing us, we got these vests. Wearing them has changed our walks. Seriously, we've had cars going the other way, IN THE OTHER LANE slow down as they near us. That NEVER happened before we got these vests. When we're in an intersection, cars stop well short of us, as if they're not taking any chances. The vests offer 360 degrees of highly reflective visibility. If you walk or run at night, these vests are potentially life-savers. As to the size ... I usually wear a men's medium and my wife usually wears a women's large. These vests fit with a little room to spare, but we have them adjusted all the way out. Because they are stretchy, they fit easily over our heavy coats and vests when the weather turns cold, so I would imagine they'd fit someone one size larger with minimal constriction. Also note: they are short - they seem designed for the upper torso (about eye-level from a driver's point of view), so the front clip sits between the chest and the belly button, NOT at the hips or waist. From the back, that puts the X between your shoulder blades and the horizontal part between the middle and small of your back, again about eye-level for drivers. I especially like that in the summer, they don't add another whole layer to trap heat - just throw them on over a T-shirt and we're good to go. Overall, these vests are an excellent product and a game-changer for early morning and night-time walkers and runners. We wouldn't walk in the dark without them! Review: Works great for myself and my 8 year old - These work perfect for night walks for myself (size M tall female) and my tall 8-1/2 year old. She can adjust the straps down quite a bit to get the perfect fit. They buckle on & off easily with one click. They are SUPER visible to car headlights or flashlights!! Almost blinding!!
