Review: Very beautiful lights ✨ - 8/8/18 Update: these lights have come on every single night since my original review. I really didn’t think they would last this long but they have. They’ve survived rain, snow, ice, storms and extreme heat. I’ve added more to my cart to take back to our home in Central America next month and hopefully those will last just as long. I’ll update my review when THIS set finally does die to give an idea of how long they can be used every night. So far they seem to be going strong! Very fun and enjoyable to look at! This purchase came with two sets. I tested both but only hung one set but will hang the other set tomorrow. Both lit up after spending the day outside soaking up the sun. Turn them on and they light right up on their own as soon as it starts to get dark. There's several settings (modes) but I like the mode that mixes all of the settings. I was planning to take these with me to my home in Panama but decided to keep them here. I love the way they look on my front porch. Love them!

These lights are amazing! Bought them to light up our path outside. They last almost all night. They are the perfect brightness to not blind you but to easily light up a pathway. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for the price - some caveats. Probably not built to last long.

These just might be the cheapest, best, solar-powered string lights out there, if you're going for length and a subtle accent/aesthetic. They were definitely a hassle to untangle, make sure you have a friend with some patience who can do it for you. Once they're set up, press the power button on the solar panel and they will turn on. NOTE!!!! The lights will not turn on if there is light pointed at the panel, even if you have pressed the on button!!!! This took some heartache to figure out, but past that, it was smooth sailing. The solar panel is more than adequate to get several hours of light out of these. The power draw on the lights is very low, and they are near-invisible if the summer sun is up. They sparkle well at night though. I definitely wouldn't use these as a primary light source. It looks like they operate on a fiber-style principle, where each light is glued into the fiber strand. They are sensitive and if you agitate, impact, or stress the light bulb too much, it will go out. Good thing you have hundreds more. All in all, great rope to get a few uses out of, lots of nice sparkly settings, and they make a good aesthetic. I used them for camping and they were a big hit. To decorate a permanent structure, I would avoid solar power and go for something more substantial.
