This whitening accelerator is best used with the whitening toothpaste also offered by the supersmile company, but it has whitening ingredients that allow you to use it on its own. The gel is clear, and you will want to use a dry toothbrush when using it on your teeth. I have crowns, and it has never been an issue for me to use it with any of the dental work I've had done. I am very sensitive to the gels that go into dental trays, but I've not had any sensitivity with supersmile products and found them to be effective and easy to use. They are on the higher end, price-wise, but in my experience this is a more effective, gentle and economical way of maintaining white teeth than frequent visits to the dentist for their approach.
