All of these were recommended by dermatologists, but one clearly out-performed the others: Laura Mercier, hands down. Here's the difference I found (below). Note that these comments pertain to Caucasian skin of a wide range of tones.Laura Mercier has a somewhat yellow tint to counterbalance the purple-pink tint of a new scar. Yellow and purple are opposite colors on the color wheel, so the yellow tint literally makes purple-pink color invisible. The result is the scar completely disappears, and it takes the tiniest amount of product to blend in for a cover. It lasts all day. Truly amazing stuff.In contrast, DermaBlend is your skin's color (or lighter), so it will initially cover if you put enough on, but the coverage isn't as effective and it doesn't last as long. However, DermaBlend is fantastic as an under-eye cosmetic concealer because it has a bit of translucence and brightens up the area, so now I just use it for that.I tried Dior concealer as well and it did not cover scars at all--it's just a mild concealer for face, under eyes, etc., and has moisturizer in the stick, which means it goes on smoothly and has a nice transluscence (if that's what you're looking for), but it is not a serious coverup.Anyway, hope that is helpful. --Juliet ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars yes *by N***A on Reviewed in the United States on September 15, 2018* i will buy it again ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars I LOVE this product *by L***S on Reviewed in the United States on December 21, 2017* Laura Mercier stopped making this, so I found it here and bought it out. I LOVE this product. Great coverage, easy to apply, and I only need to put it on once in the morning and I am good to go all day.I would say I'd prefer a pot because I feel like I don't get everything out of the tube. But since this is discontinued, it doesn't really matter.
