Although a little too developed as the author kept dropping hints like some kind of hammer, not very subtle. Anyway - but the typos and the mis-matched areas of the book were really off putting. I can take a dropped word here and there but the constant unevenness ruined the second half of the book for me. There were names in the wrong places, you could never tell exactly what day it was supposed to be, and the timing of the days didnt match up. There was one point where they were supposed to be getting ready in the morning 'before first light' and then suddenly pizza arrived - I seriously wonder if anyone read this through before publishing. I think the editors did a major disservice to this author. I dont think I will be reading another book by her. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Too many important unanswered questions *by B***C on Reviewed in the United States on August 11, 2017* On the surface, this is a warm & fuzzy story of 3 estranged sisters who are reunited by the shared inheritance of a Pacific Coast beach house.Below the surface, however, there is a LOT of calculated manipulation going on, and also some intriguing unanswered questions about sister Tyra's financial situation. Those two things made the story seem somewhat dark to me, otherwise, it's a fairly happy little read. Most of the drama is self-inflicted and neatly resolved by the last page.My recommendation is neutral. It's a good "lazy day" read, whether that's on the beach or on the couch on a rainy day. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good beach read - spoiler alert *by D***Y on Reviewed in the United States on October 9, 2017* I enjoyed this book. It was a fast read and the characters were well developed but it was hard to get over all the typos. It needed some editing. Aside from that there were some unanswered questions. Lydia did quite a transformation which in part could be being away from her horrible husband but really a bit unbelievable. Where did Tyra get the money to buy the house in the first place? The story of all those volunteers just because they loved the original owners also seemed a bit contrived.
