After realizing that error.....boom, clean, smooth, and simple. The crimp is beautiful and perfect. A very high-quality crimp. I watched one YouTube video that recommended striping an inch of the end of the wire. I think this is incorrect and only requires about 1/4 inch or so....just enough to go just past the crimp ears. The wire cutters aren't so great....throw them in your kitchen tool drawer and buy some Kliens. The blue plastic connections, 1 broke because they are plastic and not metal that is why I gave it a 4 star.
