I purchased this before an Ironman event to try out because this is what would be offered on course. It doesn’t mix particularly well and I get they don’t want to add anything artificial but having some color in it helps visually to monitor intake and distinguish from plain water. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’m a fan *by B***N on Reviewed in the United States on August 28, 2020* I started using Base as they were the drink sponsor for a race I was training for that I didn’t end up getting to run (thanks Covid). I really like it, it’s not too sweet and it’s drinkable for hours. I use it pretty diluted (80 cals/0.5 liter) since I also like to eat solid foods during longer efforts. But Base has been really easy on my stomach when combined with Spring gels, banana, pop tarts, and other “super healthy” endurance fuel.
