Easy to fold up and relatch it. The only thing that is a negative is that it comes with thick pliable plastic tubes to slide over the brackets that hang it on the bike so it doesn't scratch the bike but I couldn't get them all the way on and ended up cutting them down the middle and rewrapping them over the brackets and it worked out just fine.
