Buyer beware! *by M***L on September 29, 2017* I don't know how to begin my review. I haven't received anything like this before. The promotional product description is a complete misrepresentation of what you are considering buying. That's not a knife! It's a thick-spined, very heavy chunk of steel that doesn't even approach the level of quality representative of inexpensive department store kitchen Cutlery. The quality control is horrendous! Case in point: the "blade" is significantly offset to one side (photo 1 shows the knife leaning against the side of its box and the blade tip is waaay off center. Photo 2 shows tooling marks on the knife handle. Photo 3 shows overspray of black paint (imagine paint coming off onto your food!). By the way, the paint shows no evidence of stress cracking, so the paint was applied to the surface after machining of the bent blank had been completed. In other words, this knife was not damaged during transit. This is without a doubt an obvious example of sloppy manufacturing. The "exquisite packaging" is nothing more than a cardboard box covered in a type of paper-thin particleboard veneer (photo 4). Photo 5 shows the knife as received, cradled inside its plain foam liner with a packet of moisture-absorbing desiccant. This product is being returned for a refund. As delivered, this product is unfit for its intended purpose, cutting vegetables and fruits. I question if the finish of this product is representative of a safe, sanitary build for home kitchen use, never mind as a professional chef's knife. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Sharp Knife *by C***N on October 7, 2017* Great knife, fits hand well.
