They work well for me for apples, oranges, lemons. Your question — it looks like the drawers would be removable to clean. **Q: For the drawer ones, can you remove the lids?** A: For the ones I got, they have pull-out drawers. You can stack them and still have access by pulling the drawer. some other brands had lids so it would be more difficult to access the insides. **Q: Is it stackable?** A: mine do not have lids, ergo not stackable **Q: What is the difference in medium to large sizes? The picture for both show the same size** A: The med is 4.5 in high and the lg is 5.5 in high.
