Only the bottom skin is crispy so they could be turned. Trying with oil on skin next. Really love it! Tested in the fire. The device is perfectly sturdy for the direct great BUT comes to temp so far in the embers that in 30 mins with oil wiped on them we totally burned the pots! When brought out of the oven the temp came down super quickly from over 100 to 50.
