I have them on the back legs of my chairs and they stretch a little. **Q: If the legs are 1x1 should I buy 1x1 size or 1x1/2? Not sure how much they strech.** A: I did the same thing! I had 1 x 1 square leg bought these 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 they are too sloppy. I ordered the 1 x 1 and used them on my application. I love the chairs even though they are old, they are super comfortable and did not want to replace.
