Review: One of the top cardiovascular texts - Excellent reference for cardiovascular diseases. I used this text during my medical residency and cardiovascular fellowship. I wanted to have an updated version for reference. On a personal note, I met J. Willis Hurst, the editor of earlier versions of this text, in 1985 when he came to lecture at my medical school. I got to meet one of my idols at the airport and drive him to the medical center. He passed away in 2011.

Excellent reference for cardiovascular diseases. I used this text during my medical residency and cardiovascular fellowship. I wanted to have an updated version for reference. On a personal note, I met J. Willis Hurst, the editor of earlier versions of this text, in 1985 when he came to lecture at my medical school.
