**Q: Can I swap out the battery for a 6v battery pack of 4 to give it a power boost?**
A: deerc sells a 7.4v cell and charger with the SM 2P power head. Obvi you'll void the warranty but it could work, just have to be extra careful about the ESC thermals and not run it as long or as much. it has the space for a 3 cell li ion pack but i think that's going to be out side of this ones range.

**Q: Can this handle a 3.7v lipo pack**

I ordered 16 of these for christmas gifts for my sons 2nd grade class. I opened one charged it and tried it out before sending to students. Comes with a back up battery which is nice , has headlights and is easy to drive. I personally "drove" this item around the living room and then down 4 steps ...I am an adult I was not wreckless with this toy - after going down the carpet stairs- unfortunately it no longer worked. So I recommend only driving on a flat surface and if you do this I do not feel you will have any issues
